03 / BILLING & CREDITS

Frequently
asked questions.

Billing, credits and plans — straight answers.

Still have a question?

What are credits and how are they spent?

Credits pay for image generation and edits. Flare and Sunburst cost 1 credit at 1K, 4 at 2K and 6 at 4K. Seedream 5.0 Flash costs 2 credits at 1K, 1.5K or 2K. Nano Banana 2.1 costs 3 credits at 1K, 5 at 2K and 7 at 4K. The generator shows the selected model’s cost before submission; references do not add a surcharge.

What is the difference between credit packs and subscriptions?

Credit packs are one-time purchases of a fixed credit amount — simple top-ups. Subscriptions give you a recurring credit allotment, with plan-specific concurrency, queue access and resolution limits. Ultimate also includes API access and one 24-hour free-generation window after the first qualifying purchase. Renewals and repeat purchases do not reset or grant another free day.

Can I use ZingPix for free?

Yes. Signing up is free and includes complimentary credits. When those run out, top up with a pack or subscribe. Failed generations automatically return reserved credits; returns may take time to appear.

How does the Unlimited free generation day work?

Ultimate unlocks one 24-hour window after the first qualifying purchase during which eligible generation costs zero credits. Renewals and repeat purchases do not reset the window or grant another free day; fair-use, queue, capacity, and eligibility controls still apply.

Do credits expire?

No. Under our current policy, credit packs, subscription allotments and sign-up bonus credits do not expire. If that ever changes, we will say so clearly on this page before it takes effect.

What happens if a generation fails?

Failed generations, including moderation-blocked tasks, automatically return the full reserved credit amount. Returns may take time to appear; check your credit history for the status before retrying. Credit returns are separate from cash refunds.

What is the refund policy?

Every purchase has a 7-day cooling-off period. Within 7 days and with no more than 20% of the purchased credits used, you can request a refund proportional to the unused portion. After 7 days, or beyond 20% usage, purchases are final. Details live in our Terms of Service.

Can I use the generated images commercially?

Yes — on every plan, images you create are yours for commercial projects, subject to the upstream model provider's usage policies. ZingPix downloads do not add a visible or invisible watermark. Model-provider identifiers may remain; Google states that Nano Banana 2.1 images include the invisible SynthID watermark.

How do I cancel or change my subscription?

Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing — your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, and the 7-day cooling-off refund above applies to the most recent charge. You can also upgrade mid-cycle; new limits apply after the next charge.
